By the skin of my teeth...

Kind of a disgusting image, when you think about it. Makes me want to pull out the electric brush and scrub until my gums recede.

Finished my 100th book of 2010 with twenty-five minutes to spare. Whew! Not a very thick coat of plaque between me and failure. How lame to finish the year one book short. I couldn't let myself.

Now I'll have time for long books again.

Happy New Year!

  2. Hi Lena! Congrats on reaching the 100 books finish line! I had alsmost given up on following your blog because you abondoned it for so long. I opened it up today and there has been a blog explosion while I was out. It's glood to have you back. P.S I liked your old old blog best (more sophisticated) but this one is fun. Variety is always good

  3. Laura: I knew I could do it, too, but would I? Ah, that was the question. Thanks for cheering me on, all along the way. :) It made the question feel less questionable.

Adri: Just trying to trick you. Who wants to be predictable? Actually, I think it's all about figuring out how to balance on a string. I'll try to wobble less often this year. We'll see how it goes.

Sophisticated, hmmm. I'll have to think about that.

  5. Gaylene: You only wouldn't know about tooth-skin because you always brush your teeth. Shakespeare should have listened to his dentist.

Congratulations on the blog! I'm going to check it out immediately.

I don't know about the 100-book challenge for this year. I want to indulge in long books again. Maybe 75....Glad I did it last year, though. You'll have fun.
